Best is to restrict access to all internet sites that use shockwave. You can do this by visiting every site on the internet, starting with Google and if you see flash create a rule in your company's DNS to forward any request to that URL to 127.0.0.1.

If you're using the K1000 appliance sccmghost, you can make a MI that runs by command line to uninstall and have it uninstall the Adobe Shock Wave Player of all machines, and set it to run on all machines.

If a user reinstalls it, it will be removed on the next checkin, and this process will continue.

You can even add a message after the quiet uninstall that says "stop installing adobe shockwave" - Wildwolfay 10 years ago
