IBM Content Manager 8.4 Error

I am trying to create a MST file from a IBM Content Manager 8.4 MSI. When I ran only MSI it install fine but when I tried to run it with MST it gives the following error
Error 1606: Couldnot access network location \Client\Dll
Does any one know about this error. I appreciate the help
Thanks
Fiqa

I guess you have custom action (set directory) in your MST which trying to set a directory which is not a full path (\Client\Dll). Find that CA and set the directory value properly.

In the set directory its INSTALLDIR\DLL which is the correct path. INSTALLDIR has a path C:\Program Files\IBM\db2cmv8\Client.
I appreciate your reply

I presume you mean it's [INSTALLDIR]DLL? You need to enclose properties in square brackets.

As ever, running your install with verbose logging will highlight such errors with reasonable clarity (once you learn how to read MSI logs, of course!) :)
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
