How to Uninstall Patch

I am Updating MSI with uninstallable MSP.I read article on Uninstalling Patch in MSDN, when I am trying that,It is not happening. I am not getting product code for Patch. Platform : Windows 7

Could you provide some more details? Are you trying to apply a patch to an MSI for distribution? Have you tried creating an Administrative Install Point for the MSI and patching that?

What exactly do you mean by an 'uninstallable patch'?

  • nevermind the question about the uninstallable patch, I was thinking 'cannot be installed' instead of 'can be uninstalled'

    For finding the patch GUID, right-click it, go to properties, and under the summary tab look for the revision number (under Advanced). You're looking for the first GUID you find there.
