How to set a Environment Variable

hi,

i'm trying to set a environment variable for my msi but it is not apply to that msi

kindly tell me how to set a Environment variable...

hi,
i tried that after create that environment variable some options are there like "component,value,on install,placement,on uninstall,type"

i understand all those also except that "value" tab can u tell me what is that?

are the forums being trolled or something? I've looked at these kinds of posts cropping up with increasing horror over the the past few weeks...
This makes me secondguess my willingness to share my knowledge on packaging even.

use Environment Variables Tab Bear in mind that this advice applies only to users of Wise Package Studio. The InstallShield UI is different.
