How to Remove ‘Other’ space from 2014 Model iMac

Any software or methods, which can helps me in removing the 'Other' space from my Mac.

Other items, even though they aren't specified, are often required files such as OS files.  You generally can't delete them.

‘Other’ space on macOS is one of the most common problems faced by thousands of users and resolve this issue helps in getting an improved Mac performance.

The Other space is occupied by audio, video, photo apps and some other data. To remove the ‘Other’ space from your iMac, just follow the below-mentioned steps: 

  1. Try to clean your Mac desktop, download folder by removing all the useless data
  2. Empty the Trash folder. 
  3. Use an external hard drive to store your important data (in cases you do not want to delete them permanently from the internal drive)
  4. You may also choose to remove the Log report stored in the macOS HD. However, it is not recommending still some unwanted logs can be deleted to get free spaces.
