How to - Large Installation
Hi everyone,
I am new to packaging and deploying applications. I am currently working on Rational Application Developer 7.5. As some of you may know, this software (with Websphere included) is very large. Takes at least 5 gig of space.
My problem is this. I am using Wise Package Studio 8 to do a setup capture of this installation. I managed to create a MSI for the installation manager that works well (I am very happy about the result). However, when I try to capture RAD, I get an error after compiling the MSI since it is around 1.8 gig.
Is there a way to tell Wise to create cab files during the capture? or should I do this differently?
Any input would be really appreciated.

you can use cabs its in the releases section in wise.
you can have internal / external cabs
or external uncompressed. (unlikely to be of use in this case)
