How to create an App-v shortcut link to a directory?
Hello everybody,
I created an app-v package. One of shortcuts in my package link to a directory in INSTALLDIR and it can not launch => error "Location is not available". In sequencing process, i tried but could not create same shortcut (in step "Customize > Edit shortcuts").
How I create an app-v shortcut link to a directory?

You can ignore that shortcut from your package..
but if you want to create it then you can put target as
C:\Windows\explorer.exe "<Location of your folder\FonlderName>"

You can try this, Fenerally while capture if you create empty directory app-v will be able to capture the directories too. - Visalakshi 10 years ago
