How do you install Sophos Antivirus on a MAC.  I have a MAC package created and want to use Kace to run the install.

Is it in dmg format? Upload it to the software record as you normally would, and then create a managed install for it. It usually works with the default settings.

I just installed the free version in a 10.7 VM using the instructions below.

http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-antivirus-for-mac-home-edition.aspx

Do this:

1. Install on one machine, force a check in (sudo /Library/Application Support/Dell/KACE/bin/runkbot 2 0)

2. Find Sophos Anti-Virus in Software Inventory and upload the savosx_80_he.dmg file directly to it as an Associated File.

3. Create a Managed Install selecting "Sophos Anti-Virus" in the dropdown.  Set it up for machines as you need and deploy it.
