How do I package the activation for "Macromedia Captivate"
I'm trying to automate the install of Macromedia Captivate 1.01.1418 Full version. I can automate the install, but it asks for activation when launched. I've activated it on one machine and copied the HKLM\Software\Macromedia key over as well as the "c:\documents and settings\all users\application data\macromedia" folder over to a clean machine. But it still asks for activation on the clean machine. I'm running Windows XP SP2.
Anyone been successful? I've seen some messages about captivate, but nothing in regard to the activation.

Bob-
This is from Studio 8.x install intructions but will solve the problem you are having. Read about half-way down the page under Notes and you will see how to get rid of Activation.
Hope this helps-

I've already seen that and actually packaged Studio 8 that way and it worked. But copying the Macromedia folder to the new computer does not do the trick for Captivate (as I stated above). Odd that the product from the same company activates differently.
Soooo....anyone else?
