How Can I Remove OS Images from our "Kbox"?

I have a list of OS images in our KACE system that are outdated and need to be removed.  I'm new to this KACE project and looking for a little guidance.  Thanks in advance.

Navigate to the Deployments module and click the Images tab. Click the checkbox next to the image name(s) you wish to delete, then click the Choose Action dropdown menu and click Delete selected.

If you want to reclaim the hard drive space you'll need to navigate to Settings and Maintenance > Appliance Maintenance tab > click the Purge button to delete unused kimage files. It can take a few hours until the HDD pie chart shows the free space.

Never delete an image when running an image capture.

  • Just as an FYI, "purge" is a nightly cron job in 3.5!!

      • petemp is not affected by a purge. A purge just removes unused kimage files.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I figured out what the problem was and I was able to take care of it. I took on this KACE project with no prior background info or anythng.  I was logging into the K1000 box and couldnt find the info there.  I needed to be logging in to the OTHER Kace Box.  Got it all under control for now.  Thank you, again.
