Hi, I am new to packaging. We are upgrading from XP to Win 7. We have many applications on VB5/VB6. Can you please let me know what are the general challenges in packaging VB applications for Win 7. Any special things to remember while creating packages for Win 7. Any help on this is much appreciate

Provide me the points that has to be taken care while packaging VB applications on Win 7. These applications are working fine on XP.

There are no particular considerations specifically connected with packaging VB5/VB6 applications for Windows 7, other than that they are 32-bit. Your XP packages should work without change, UAC configuration notwithstanding.
