Help with 1324 Error...

A customer is getting an install error 1324 with "Personal Data" in the message text. I checked the user's Personal registry entry and the value is formed something like this...

\\MTW14.FT.PSU\HOME\MTID\Personal Data

I'm wondering what is wrong with that format. Could it be that the Network path is not resolved properly with a space in it?

Some additional information...

If I change the above to PersonalData, I then get the 1324 error on non-installing user launch of our app... It is now erroring on a folder we created in the redirected folder, which has spaces -- My New Folder, for example. I'll also get the 1324 on this created directory on uninstall by the Administrator that installed it.

With what I've gathered so far, this seems to be more of a problem since the Advent of Win 7 (possibly Vista). I did find that mapping the network location to be used for My Docs, then redirecting to the mapped drive instead of using UNC paths seems to work better. I don't know if this will pose any security concerns for our users that are experiencing the problem.

Any further info, guidance would be greatly apprecited!
