Help! Script to lookin for something
Hi, I have a problem.
I must read registry to look for key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\Healthservice\Parametres\Managements Groups
This key have others subkeys about name Management Group for example FAKE, TEST etc. Subkey FAKE, TEST contains others subkeys too.
I need read this main subkey and if name management groups will be different than FAKE, script will be make this command:
msiExec.exe \i \\fileserver\MOM\momagent.msi /norestart /qn /l*v "c:\MOMReinstall.log" MANAGEMENT_GROUP="BUKA" MANAGEMENT_GROUP_OPERATION="RemoveConfigGroup" MANAGEMENT_Server="Cerberos" REINSTALL="all"

Go to the JSWare site, where you'll find a class pack. In that pack is a registry class for VBScript. A function in that class enumerates a key and its sub-keys.
Why bother with script, though, when you can use AppSearch/RegLocator in a transform which you can apply to the MSI you have?
