Help with Excel for Mac!
I opened an excel template on my mac book. The template came from a windows computer and on my mac it will not let me fill color, merge cells, or use conditional formatting. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Or why it is occurring? Please help!!! Thanks.

From what I've read, Office for Mac is....sub-optimal. Can the sender re-send a version which has been saved in an older format?

I think you should save this file on Mac using 'Save As'<<.DOCX format and then re-launch the excel file. Hopefully you can edit it from now.
