nah, the OP should first read the entries in the Package KB, then be driven to Phil Wilson's book when completely confused by what he reads there [:D]

I would put the order of research as follows.
- Look for docs accompanying the installer.
- setup.exe /?
- www.google.com
- Look on the vendor's web site. (Support, Documentation, etc...)
- Look in the vendor's forums.
- Contact the vendor.
- Post your very detailed and specific questions including what troubleshooting you have already done in a new post here in this forum for each of the products.

sorry PJ, but you're wrong. he should start by reading Phil Wilson's "The Definitive Guide To Windows Installer".
