Has anybody contacted quest about them reducing the number of free "asset" licenses from 100 to 20? Are they willing to do exceptions or has everyone purchased additional asset licenses?
We were using about 80 "asset" licenses when we had the 100 free licenses included. Now that we only get 20 free licenses we are short about 60 and they sell them in packs of 250 so they are not cheap.

So as I always suggested the introduction of asset licenses was the "thin end of the wedge" and now you are in a situation. Quick question your 80 assets, what type of asset are they? Remember you only pay for sub asset types of a device or when you use agentless to create an inventory item. So you may have a work around by creating a fresh asset type and then manage you assets as that type - Hobbsy 7 years ago
