Flash v9.0.115.0 - how to trigger an update
I've just created a transform for Flash 9.0.115.0 and, following the extensive notes here on AppDeploy, I created and am using a configuration file MMS.CFG to disable automatic updating. All our installation scenarios are satisfied and Flash works.
Thing is, I have no way of knowing if the 'Do not update automatically' entry is going to work until an update becomes available. An extremely tall order, I know, but does anyone happen to know how I could trigger it?

VBScab,
I've had the same issue myself and found somewhere on the Flash site the information to look for with a packet sniffer - I can't find it now though!
Someone has posted most of required info on this post.
Hope this helps,
Dunnpy

Hi, Paul. Like a good boy, I researched the issue thoroughly here (which is how I twigged to use MMS.CFG) so that part was no problem. I posted my query on Adobe's forum http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=184&threadid=1333124&forumid=44 and got a response last night which pretty much says the same as you have. Our network boys will just *love* me sniffing their wires LOL.
