Firewall issues with Softgrid
Scenario : How do we handle firewall settings with softgrid?
If we have an application which needs access to the internet how do we make changes to the firewall, as it wont identify the application to be installed in the base machine(as it is installed in Q:\)

What application are you working with?
Our client system Windows Firewall settings are locked down for basic end-users & I wasn't able to virtualize one application that needed to write a firewall exception rule. I don't know if that scenario has a workaround, but I wasn't able to resolve it.

If you are using Windows Firewall this article might help you script the modification of the firewall rules. The downside is if the script runs as the end user then the end user will need rights.
