Fatal Error in MSI after installing, uninstalling and installing MIS again.

Hello All,

I am having an issue with one msi for few days now and wondering if anyone has ever seen that. When i install my msi it works fine, after removing it i see no issues. When i try to install it over after removing it i am getting : Fatal Error. Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

What's weird is that uninstall of that application affects all other msi, meaning if i click on other msi i'll get the first screan: Welcome to .... installation wizard. After clicking next error will show up. At that point it will affect all other msi packages, meaning even those msi that installed succesfully previously won't work at that point.

One thing i have to ad, is that program works fine when i do install it silently with /qb-. Then i can remove it the same way and install it over with no issues.

I was able to notice that the error i am having got something to do with Welcome Dialog in WisePackageStudio.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

After going it thru I think that there is some initialisation being done at the welcome dialog itself, therefore when you run it silently it workjs perfectly fine check out whether is there a DLL or any other resource file getting registered? And if you have created this installer then remove look at the welcome dialog conditions in the scripting tab or create a transform to remove the first dialog box and then test it all over...
