fatal error cannot start nero control center, please reinstall nero
Hi all,
I packaged Nero 10 suite. I did a capture of the applcation.. The application installs succesfully.
When I try to launch any shortcuts for the 1st time after install, It asks if I need to update. I said yes. It throws me this error
"fatal error cannot start nero control center, please reinstall nero"
I am able to launch the Nero Control Centre shortcut too, but when looks for the updates in the control center, it says update service not available.
Please suggest , what I need to do

I still remember that it is not a legacy setup. How are you capturing vendor MSI.
You have to extract the msi from the setup.exe and create transform..

Hey, I am not able to extract the exe. I tried the exe/admin throws the error "2607, Media table not found or empty", did not extract ,
and also looked at the temp folder, running the exe , I did not get msi..
Is there a KB on this, Or please guide me how you extracted the msi from exe. - shamu99 11 years ago
Is there a way If I can atleast hide that initial window that opens when I launch the shortcut in isntall shield
