Extracting Registry info to a Reg file during install or script

Hi - I'm looking for a way to extract some registry keys under a specific branch and store it in a .reg file to run at a later time. We need to try and do this to preserve some user settings that get removed during a software upgrade.

I'd like to be able to do this in the Wise Script Editor but haven't been able to...

Native to Wise script you are not going to have a lot of luck. I think that you would be well served by using the Microsoft Resource Kit Utility REG.EXE.

You will find it very scriptable.
