Exclusion from Scans
Is there a way to stop the KACE product scanning a certain server or computer, and not download the agent to it? Or would I just have to make sure on that server, the port would need to be shut off for the access? Please Help

I'd have to check, but for Windows at least, I'd bet that the agent is identified by provisioning by the registry key for the K1000 agent here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
My guess is that if that key exists, the agent won't install again, but I'd have to test it.

You could also make sure that the user you're provisioning the client with doesn't have administrator rights on the computer in question.

I have checked to make sure that user does not have the rights of admin on the machine. I am still trying to find out the way. Hopefully something will turn up. - JoshFoote 11 years ago
