First off, sorry if this has been posted before..
Just found these boards today while searching for my query... now I know where to come if I have more probs.. hehe

I have had a request to rollout an Excel 2003 addin (Analysis Toolpak) on around 20 users machines. I have the .xll file after I installed this via Tools, select Add-ins and install from the menu (the user that has requested this has asked if this can be rolled out via SMS, instead of users doing this manually, not sure what will be eaiser to be honest)..

So my query is how do I roll this out via SMS, install and config I cannot find anything on the web at present to help, or even on the Microsoft website.

Any advice will be helpful

Excel add-ins have been and I am sure will be a source of continual problems in multi-user environments. Here is a link to my Previous Excel Add-in Posting on the subject it is coded for a msi custom action installation but can be easily altered to meet your needs for a SMS install.
