error in application when deploying thru AD
I have an msi which when installed from command line
msiexec /i "msiname.msi" ALLUSERS=""
works great
but when the same MSI is installed from Active Directory one of the program of the application does not work.
is there anything i need to do in the package or in the AD to make this application work ?

Have you checked the event viewer to determine where exactly the application is failing?
Generally one doesnt need to do something extra to make it work with AD, but I have faced this problem many times,,,and its always to do with specific issues within the package.

there is nothing in the event viewer concerned with the application, filemon regmon do not show anything.

I would try the MSI as a per-machine install if you have not and set the ADDLOCAL property to ALL. That should install the application just like your command line. If you want to make a per-user install work then there is debug fun to be had.
