Error during installation of msi (2343)
Hi All,
I am captured one application and created msi. During installation of msi, i am getting 2343 error like below.
Action start 20:08:05: WriteIniValues.
MSI (s) (88:4C) [20:08:05:420]: Note: 1: 2343
DEBUG: Error 2343: Specified path is empty.
Can any body help on this.....

You have bad entries in the INIfile table.
I'd bet that the application uses INI files which are not in standard INI file format. In that case, when capturing, choose 'Treat as file' (from your question's phrasing, I'm also betting you're using Wise Package Studio) for the "INI" files.

I have used Wise package studio to capture the application. I have checked the ini file, it is having correct information like Variable name = value
When I capture the application, Ini file got captured in seperate component and the target dirctory for this is mentioned as "Personal folder" in the component. Now I have moved the ini file to the main exe component and Installed the msi.... Now the msi is getting installed fine.....
