Error 3010

I am packaging with Altiris. I have built a package that installes Project 2003 Standard and in the package it also installs SP3 for it. When run alone there is no problem, it runs and installs with no errors at all. But when I run a job that reimages the machine and also has other packages associated with it, ex: Office 2003, Visio Std 2003, Adobe Pro 9.0 and TrendMicro it errors with a code 3010. I did look up the code and it is the Windows Installer is all ready running and this is where my job stops and needs user interaction. It prompts saying do you want to install this update and will not continue until you hit yes.

Where I am confused at, is this only happens when I also run the reimage package on the computer. By itself or with another package it runs fine but for some reason it does not like it when the computer is reimaged. I tried placing it at the end of the job but it still stops wanting you to hit yes to the update. I tried putting a reboot in before the installation of SP3 but it still wont go through with no user interaction. Any help out there on this would be great and thanks in advance to those that reply.

Regards,
Monger

The 3010 "error" means the installation requested a restart which often happens when it wants to replace a file that is currently in-use.
Try to find out which file that is pending; check the HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations registry entry.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
