Error 2902 - ixofilecopy
Good morning all,
I am trying to create a package that will deploy our VMWare image files to a couple of machines. The actual VMWare file is over 1.2gig in size. When I create my msi everytime I run the install I get an error 2902 - ixofilecopy. I have tried using external cabs but that doesn't seem to help. It seems to be that msiexec just doesn't like the 1.2 gig file. Has anyone run into this error or had success including very large files in their packages?
The actual error in the log file is:
DEBUG: Error 2902: Operation ixoFileCopy called out of sequence.

Don't know if there are any limitations of the cab size though, nice that you got it working.

AngelD, thanks for the tip, it worked. Of course that's the only option I hadn't tried :) I guess next time I will look further.
