Error 1912

When I worked with one application I encountered with error "Info 1912. Could not unregister type library for file [path to the dll file]. Contact your support personnel".
The reason was: TypeLib from this library was registered by TypeLib table.
Solution: All typeLibs from this library should be register by Registry Table

Check that the typelib file isn't "in-use".

I checked - and this dll was not used by another process

Did a verbose log give you any more clues?

The verbose log file contains only this error message and deinstallation of this package completed successfully. But typeLib stays in the system's registry.
I don't know way, but when typeLib was moved from the TypeLib table to the Registry table, it was deleted from the system's registry successfully during deinstallation.

Then why not add the registration info through the Registry table instead then.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
