Error:1911 could not able to register file in Typelib
I am repackaging Office 2003 and i have created the MSI of it. But during installation iam getting error related to registeriung the DLL
Error 1911: unable to register the file C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\Ink\inkobj.dll.
I have searched for solution for this type of problem and many a times i found the solution as " to delete the entry from Typelib table".
Can anyone tell me
1 .Is it a correct way of resolving that error.
2. If yes, what is the funda behind that (i.e., how this error will be resolved if we delete the entry )

First question that comes to mind is: why in the world do you want to remake an Office MSI? I'd recommend doing an administrative install and use MS's MSIs. Then use the Office Resource kit and make a transform for this. It seems like the only thing that can be accomplished by continuing down your path is that it will drive you nuts, IMHO.
