Error 1722
I am facing an issue while installation of an application with error 1722 on Windows 7. The same package installs successfully on Windows XP. This application is smaller and it stops, removes, and starts a new service. Can anyone give some suggestions on this. The log file shows that during a CA while stop the previous version service, this particular error occuring. On the same Windows 7 I am able to install the older version of the same application.
I would appreciate if anyone gives some suggestions. Thanks in Advance

You are at the bleeding edge there, I'm afraid. Heck, most of us aren't even past Vista yet.
My first thought would be UAC, my next to suggest a process/file/registry monitor to determine exactly what the EXE gets up to.
