Environment Variables fo Oracle

Hi All

Think I'm posting on the correct forum..

I've got an issue where I have a number of applications with Pre-req of Oracle 10.2.0.4 which is available as a sequence, so expanding the package locally and sequencing my primary app but when importing into Citrix and launching as admin/user I get ORA errors, been advised I may need to add some environment variables for Oracle.
I've attempted adding an ORACLE_HOME user variable but still having the same issue.
Can anyone help?

Y

Assuming it is App-V (based on Oracle being available as a sequence) then you should take a look at the OSD for Oracle and grab the virtualised variables (including PATH) and insert them into the OSD of the apps which are linked to Oracle. DSC doesn't bring across any OSD elements, it just opens up the virtual environment (i.e. the SFT file).

Like Danny said, redefine the Environment Variables in the OSD of the main applications, they do not propagate into the bubble when coming from DSC.

What virtualization technology are you using? Are we talking App-V with DSC?

Many Thanks Guys, I'll edit the OSD's.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
