Doubt in suppressing dialog
Hi All,
I do have an application which is a vendor MSI. This MSI inturn calls an exe at some point of installation. when i saw the script of the msi there was a CA which calls this exe. But we have a request which asks of suppressing dialogs of that exe. If i use install tailor of wise it shows dialogs of msi alone not of exe's. Is there anyways to supress these dialogs of exe.

Maybe the exe has a silent switch whcih you can use (-s /s -q /q) If you could drag the exe onto the cmd line and add the /? or ? switch it might throw up a clue.
The Vendor could possibly help you out further.
This may be no good if you need to select specific options during the exe's install though
