Dotnet 2 with SP1
After looking at the .Net 2 Sp1 installer instructions (http://www.appdeploy.com/packages/detail.asp?id=645) I can’t seem to find how to create an SP1 MSI installer for deployment from AD using GPO’s. When I download the files from the internet its version [font="times new roman"]2.0.50727 not the 2.1.21022 I’m after.

[font="times new roman"]Can someone please help and let me know how to create one MSI for .Net 2 with SP1.

Do an admin install of 35, and you will find a msi for dotnet2 sp1.

- perform an admin install of v2.0
- download the SP1 patch from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7befd787-9b5e-40c6-8d10-d3a43e5856b2&displaylang=en
- apply the patch to the admin install
- have a nice cup of tea
