DLL HELL

Hi,

Anybody please could help out me to identify whether dll has been registered or not properly by viewing just, coz if my app have 1000’s of dll how do I chk it in short time.

Write a script which opens the DLL as a text file using the FileSystemObject object and search for the text 'DLLRegisterServer'. Although this is no guarantee that the DLL contains COM information, it's 99%. And before you ask, yes, I do have one and no, I'm afraid I no longer send my scripts out into the public domain.

BTW, I'm wondering how your question qualifies as one about a Windows Installer Error...
