Hi All,

I m packaging "Toad for Oracle" application which has a tab, when we click on that it tries to connect to internet to check for updates I need to disable this there are no registries which i can edit to disable .Please can any one tell me the procedure to do this

Try to find if the package has some property and setting this property to some value may disable the update bit.

Hi All,

Actually i have checked but no such property exists. Also i checked the custom actions nothin there too.
Plz suggest smthing.

This is controlled by the application, not the package, so Custom Actions and properties in the MSI are irrelevant.

Having wandered through all the application's options, there doesn't seem to be any way to disable the updates (or the d/l of tips...*such* a useful feature...). I suggest contacting the vendor, http://www.quest.com for assistance.
