Diff between feature level repair and component level repair

Hi frnds,
Can any one suggest me what is feature level repair and component level repair and differnce between them..

Feature Level Repair - keypath deleted and when shortcut is launched then only respective feature gets repaired completely. All the key-paths in the feature are checked.
Component Level Repair - While repair installer checks for broken key-paths in neighbor features, and it repairs only broken key-paths.
