Device entry disappearing in k1....Spooky.
Hi guys.
Anyone ever had an issue with device entries in the k1 disappearing ?
I just imaged a machine. It gets the agent installed as part of the image
deployment. The machine appears in the k1 devices as usual......Then poof....
after a few hours it's gone from the inventory.
This is really weird, as the machines stick around in the inventory
for years, even when the machine has been decommissioned. I have to
manually delete the device to get rid of it.
Any ideas as to why?

My first guess is that you have an image that contains a KUID and the inventory record is changing to different machines every time a new machine is imaged. Try searching for the machine by its KUID and see what you find.
