Desktop Authority - AD Custom Function

I'm trying to setup a DA configuration to use info from AD to validate the script, but I'm not getting the results I expected.

How can I get DA's Custom Function to validate on an AD field if the field is populated. Right now, we are using the following ("adMobile" > "0") to validate, but I'd rather try to set it up so that I can have it validate to whether the value is null/not null - or present/not present. What function would DA work with to make that happen?

Any help is appreciated!

Use the F2 key to the stored dynamic variables to see.

  • That doesn't answer shows how to get to AD validation, but doesn't demonstrate how to validate a non-value with AD...but the answer is that DA can't validate against a non-valued paramter - ie validate against an AD property that is present/not present or null/not null. It simply can't do it - according to DA tech support. - ninny1176 10 years ago
