Dependency applications

I have a problem with Quest Software TOAD application which has ORACLE as its dependency application.
I have sequenced both the applications seperately and have created MSI's using "Create MSI" in the sequencer.
Edited the TOAD application OSD with the CODEBASE of ORACLE in the "Dependencies tag".
I have installed the sequenced ORACLE and TOAD application but when I check the OSD Cache in the test machine I donot find the updated TOAD OSD which has the dependency tag in it.
How do I get the updated OSD file to be deployed to the test machine when I install the msi?

Im using Softgrid 4.5 Beta.

You should be changing the version field in your OSD if it is updated but I am not 100% sure how the OSD update mechanism works with the MSI tool. When you deliver the new MSI with the new OSD is it actually performing a windows installer MSI upgrade or is it just assuming the MSI installed is up to date and it doesn't actually update anything? You could check your application even log for hints or generate a Windows Installer log when installing the new SoftGrid sequence MSI.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
