Dell Kace updates?
We use Dell Kace to push out windows updates, however when users open up the windows updates on their machine it says that they still have hundreds of updates to install.
Our Kace admin says that Kace only pushes out updates if needed. So it's pushing out the updates Windows needs but if there is update 1,2,3 and 4 kace will only push out update 4 because it includes 1,2, and 3. However, windows will still show that you need 1,2, and 3.
So is this how Kace handles windows updates or are our updates not being applied correctly?

I have to agree with the answer below. What you describe is not at all typical in my experience. I use Windows Update to check and make sure Kace applies updates correctly so when I see zero I know things worked correctly.. Sounds to me like the subscription or labels are configured incorrectly. I have not seen that behavior in the 10 years we have been using Kace, I would contact support about that. It sounds more like patching is not configured properly or there is a bug in your system
