Debug doesn't work since upgrading to 5.3

Ever since upgrading our clients to 5.3.47657 and server to 5.3.47927 the debug feature hasn't worked on any system. Either that or I just can't find the logs anymore! I've looked in Program Files, All Users, and the event log. Anybody else having this problem?

5.3 broke the files and logs into different spots

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE (x64bit)
C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE

it may be as simple as looking in the wrong spot. If not you might need to involve support. On the bright side, they are releasing an update for both to fix issues with the versions you listed sometime early/mid feb.

Use AMPtools.exe located in \Program Files\Dell\KACE (32-bit Windows) OR \Program Files x86\Dell\KACE (64-bit Windows) to enable debug

AMPTools.exe debug=true

If you are running Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 2008 the logs are located in:
\Programdata\Dell\KACE

If you are running Windows XP the logs are located in:
\Document and Settings\All Users\Dell\KACE

I've tried both AmpTools and using the built-in script to enable debugging, and looked in both Kace file locations without any luck. I guess I'll wait and hope 5.4 comes out soon! At least now I know I was in fact looking in the appropriate places.

I just tested using the amptools method and was abe to enable debugging. Now I see more data in the KBOT_LOG.txt file and amp.log file. There may be other logs with extra data too. I do not see a file called debug.log if that is what you are looking for. The knowlegebase article says to send these recently modified files to support and needs to be updated if the debug.log file is no longer created (amp.log replaces SMMP.log): KBOT_LOG.txt, debug.log, and SMMP.log
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
