database information
Hello All,
I wanted to know in which database KBOX store all its information. As it is an appliance so does the DB installed within the appliance or need to be installed seperately.
If it store information in Database, then which all databases are supported

The KBOX database is internal within the device (or VM). It is a MySQL database, and there is no way to host it on a stand-alone SQL box. It is integrated within the appliance.

Thanks a lot for the information. If i interpreted it correctly even though database is integrated into KBOX, but i will be able to query it for generating reports

Correct. You can generate reports in the KBOX console (using a wizard or custom SQL), and you've got read-only ODBC access for remote reporting (i.e. Crystal Reports, etc.).
