CutePDF Save as dialog box
Hi.
We are having an issue where the cutePDF save as dialog box stays hidden until the user interacts (clicks some part of the screen or presses a key). It doesn't happen on all installations.

I'm having the same issues with the free download cutePDF 3.0 version with the PS2PDF converter. Any suggestions on how this can be corrected? It's really just a nuisance and was hoping there would be an easy fix. - MousieKM 10 years ago

I'm having a similar problem with Win 10, the SAVEAS window disappears in less than 10 minutes. It appears to timeout. - AlanAbbott 6 years ago

Setting the display mode:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Custom PDF Printer\BypassSaveAs
(0 = show Save as dialog box after spooling, 1 = do not show Save as dialog box.)
Note: the values above are of type string (REG_SZ), not DWORD.

Is anyone still having this issue? we are seeing the same exact issue with CutePDF 3.0 on Win7 - as soon as a user prints to pdf the 'save as' dialog box stays hidden until a mouse click or keyboard press. These reg keys did not seem to solve the problem - silver7854 8 years ago

Free version of CutePDF does not support this option..
This option is available in PDFCreator (Freeware) under Printer->Options->Programs->AutoSave - jagadeish 8 years ago
