CutePDF and WinInstall LE

Hi all,
I'm working on my first package and am having some difficulty. I have a clean install and want to deploy CutePDF and am using WinInstall LE to create an MSI package. I am able to create a 13MB package that seems to copy the files (ghost script and the writer) to their proper places but the "printer" is never installed in the printers list. I don't see any errors pop up but I think I'm missing something.
Could someone help me sort this out?
I've seen the post about deploying cutepdf but I either missed something or the thread did not apply to WinInstall.
Thanks so much!

You need to restart the Spooler service!
This can be done by populating the ServiceControl table.

I'm still struggling with this...could you elaborate on stopping and starting the spooler service through winInstall LE? I've rebooted the machine but still not pdf writer. :/
Thanks for your help!

I can't recall exactly but I don't think WI LE lets you edit the MSI tables directly so you'll need a tool like Orca (a free download as part of the Windows Installer SDK) or, better, InstEdit.

As to how, search AppDeploy for 'ServiceControl'.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
