crystal XI registration suppress problem
I'm trying to suppress the registration screen for the crystal xi developer install with BOE client install
The KB says to set this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.0\Crystal Reports\Keycodes\CR Pro]
"Serial"="##puthere###"
my registry actually had:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Crystal Reports\Keycodes\CR Dev]
as well as:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\Crystal Reports\Keycodes\CR ENT]
I put "Serial"="##puthere###" (10 digit code into string key) in the CR Dev and it still popped up and I tried adding it to the Cr ENT as well and same result.
Does this registry setting still work?

(sigh)...Do people not browse forums before posting?
Either use a process/file/registry monitor to watch the changes in real-time when you manually enter the serial number or use a lightweight snapshot tool (I use Ziff-Davis' In Control) to capture those changes. Then, simply add those changes to your package.
