creating folder in other user profiles

Hi

I m packaging "Virtual Coach 4.0". It creates a folder <user>\My Documents\Virtual Coach. It has some subfolders too. After installation, when I log in as a different user, the folder is not there. I want the folder and its contents in all the user profile who logs in .

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Is this a vendor MSI or a captured one?

Do you want it in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users" or in "C:\Documents and Settings\<logged in user>"?
For the latter you need an entrypoint triggering a repair or lack of use Active Setup.

I solved th problem using Active Setup.. Thanks a lot for your suggestion. But i face another issue..[:(]. The .exe file to create the folders should be placed under "c:\core\install\apps". I created the folder structure under Destination computer in Installation Expert. But its placing the .exe under "C:\Program Files\Virtual Coach\core\install\apps".

Please help me..

Go to Directory Table and search for entry called CORE.I think you will have the Directory_Parent as INSTALLDIR for the CORE.Change the entry of Directory_Parent from INSTALLDIR to TARGETDIR and in DefaultDir column make the entry as .:Core.
Since i am assuming most of the stuff, please take a backup before doing it as you might end up messing up the msi/mst.

I tried it. But since the DefaultDir of TARGETDIR is SourceDir, it again creates in C:\Program Files\Virtual Coach\core\install\apps.

It worked. I created the folder structure and in the Directory table I create the entry called INSTALLDIR1 with DefaultDir SourceDir. Then created an entry called VCOACH, with parentdir INSTALLDIR1 and DefaultDir VirtualCoach.
