could not start msn messenger for admin installation.
i have msn messenger setup files on my c drive. when i tried to start the setup from run with the command MSIEXEC /a msnmsgs.msi, the setup window appears for just few seconds and then disappeared. i would be very thankful to anyone who can help me in this regard. my email is as faheemaftab@yahoo.com

Hmm. I'm not coming up with anything solid on this. Have you made any modifications to the .msi you are trying to deploy?
Also, run the install again, but this time get a detailed log file and post back. Do this by using the following:
msiexec /I <path to the msi file> /l*v <path to the log file>
