Connection error. CURL Error 28: CURLE_OPERATION_TIMEOUTED K2000

I see this error when looking at the status of my K2000 from the K1000 appliance.  I see it in the manage linked appliances section.  The link is there but under the status column I see that error, and I cannot get to the K2 appliance interface.  The K1 appliance was upgraded to v5.4.76847 2 days ago, but I am not sure if the K2 was ok before that and I don't know if the K2 appliance was upgraded also.

That is usually a communication problem.  Could be caused by the SSL certs do not agree on the two boxes.  I had same problem with my k2000 to the RSA's but fixed it by deleting the linkage key fingerprints and recreating them.

I will try this, and thank you.

Also try using the FQDN of both appliances and make sure your DNS entries are correct.
