Okay... am tasked with packaging Office 2007.

That's all I can say with certainty... what I don't get is wtf I'm supposed to do to make this work. I know they said not to use the GPO to do this... and that I'm supposed to customize it during install. This is for installation on a citrix server.
So, I don't think I'm supposed to do a .mst either. So lost. What steps are there and is there an easy, high-level break down of what I need to do? I've been researching but am afraid that my lack of experience makes knowing what to focus on and research difficult.

Can any one shed any light on this? Any help is greatly aprpeciated.

First off - have a look in the Package KB on this site for Office 2007.

Then have a look at the Microsoft Blogs and Technet articles on how to use the Office Customization Tool (OCT).
