We are having a strange issue with deploying kace via Group Policy. I was noticing new computers were not showing up in the k1000 appliance after GPO should be installing on reboot.

When looking into the C:\ProgramData\Dell\Kace amp.conf file it is has none of the settings.

host=

log=amp.log

ampport=0

ampurl=http://

webport=443

rto=20

wto=20

crto=10

pl=pluginDesktopAlerts,pluginPatching,pluginRunProcess,pluginWeb

Has anyone ever seen this or know why the install would not list the config information?

Rename the ampagent-5.x.xxxxx-x86.msi to include your host name. e.g. ampagent-5.3.44367-x86_hostname.company.com.msi
